The Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 840C is a compact and quiet ink-jet printer that produces sharp results on plain and photo paper alike. Together, HP's exclusive fast-drying inks, PhotoREt II color-layering technology, and automatic color matching with HP ColorSmart III give you accurate color. In photo mode, the Hewlett-Packard 840C produces 1,200 x 600 dpi resolution.
This printer boasts printing speeds of up to 8 pages ppm in black and 5 ppm in color. It includes a paper tray with a capacity of 100 pages, and it works with a variety of sizes and media. Compatible with both Macintosh and PCs, the Hewlett-Packard 840C features parallel and USB connectivity (USB for Windows 98 and 2000 Professional, and Mac OS only).
Along with the printer, you receive a power cable, black print cartridge, color print cartridge, user's guide, and software package.
